What is love? About love and sex

I wrote this note on Facebook years ago when I was still a Director of youth ministry, but the article linked to below really brought it back to my mind. It’s amazing how close our two lists of 7 things are! The things that Emily Stimpson is saying are absolutley true I encourage everyone to read what she says.

The following is what I wrote about love in 2008 and it is truer now than it ever has been before. I stand by what I said then 100%. I’m not down on love. I love love, especially now that I am married and have my own son on the way (who is due literally any minute now as I type this blog). So take a minute and read about what love is, really. What is a relationship? Not our cultures answer to the question “What is Love?”.

Our Own Worst Enemy: by Emily Stimpson

I’ve read a lot lists floating around social networks, and they mostly make me sick to my stomach. Our culture is perpetuating the idea that physical intimacy is what Love is all about. This is categorically false. Although physical intimacy has it’s place in your love life it absolutely does not define it. This right here is the REAL love list. Women, if a man treats you this way you have found love forever not “Until BOREDOM do us part” or “until menopause do us part” You ready for this? Here we Go!!

1. Real love is an intimacy of the mind. You should feel completely comfortable not touching your significant other while in the same room, but just enjoying each others company. If you have to touch your significant other every second you’re in the same room your relationship is not strong enough mentally, so you crutch on what’s easy the physical.

2. If you have real love for your significant other you should make them the only person you are intimate with. But if you are sexually intimate with every person you fall in love with none of those people are the only person you are intimate with. Real Love is forever, and forever goes in BOTH DIRECTIONS folks, not just into the future.

3. REAL Love IS NOT happy with you the way you are. Real love challenges your partner to become a better person real love helps them every day to become the best person they can be, and real love, REAL LOVE, expects the same from them, not complaining when out of Love they try to help you overcome your faults.

4. REAL Love is a DECISION not an emotion. It begins with an emotion, but REAL serious Love, the kind that includes things like sex and marriage, is a decision. A decision that lasts “until DEATH do you part”. It won’t be easy, and at times you will want to walk away but you make the DECISION to never do that no matter what. If you can’t man up, and commit yourself, FOREVER, to the happiness of the beautiful woman who wants to be with you, THEN KEEP YOUR JUNK IN YOUR PANTS! Because you are not worthy.

5. (ladies) Real love respects the man you will be with. You wouldn’t flaunt your body to others if you were married. Why are you doing it now? If there is real substance to you in your heart and in your head guys are going to notice. Guys don’t need you to highlight your physical beauty… we’re pretty good at noticing it no matter what you are wearing, and if we don’t find you physically attractive no amount of thongs, makeup or short skirts is going to change our minds in fact it usually makes it worse :) You start jiggling things around, and wearing nothing but a piece of yarn and you are going to attract a terrible person who will take advantage of you and kick you to the curb for the next jiggly thing he sees. You are beautiful and deserving of everything love has to give. Don’t cheapen yourself, and spend your life chasing after guys who aren’t capable of really loving you.

6. REAL love is about appropriate SEX. It’s about seeking real intimacy with the one you love. Sex does and always will permanently connect you with your partner. That’s half the point! (the other half is making babies) Sex unites a man and a woman to each other for the purpose of STRENGTHENING their love, and bringing children to the family. Not creating love, or turning like into love, but strengthening something that already solidly exists, giving it the ability to last forever. If you pass around the pie to everyone who’s hungry nobody feels special, especially you. There is nothing left for you to give once you’ve given away sex. No way of showing your Love that they are more special than anyone before them.

7. People encourage girls to save sex for a special night like Prom or Homecoming with you’re boy friend that you “Love”. Question… Why would you want that night with your high school boyfriend to be more special than your wedding night with your future husband? Saving your self for prom or your one year anniversary, or until you get engaged… that is a bastardization of what is good and truly meaningful. Which would be saving yourself for the most important human being in your life.

People wonder why our divorce rate is so high. People say oh it’s because people aren’t having their happiness suppressed any more by out dated concepts. That is absolutely BULL and you know it. Our divorce rate is so high because we are becoming more and more of a selfish people. Our personal happiness is becoming the most important thing to us. Stop for a second, and think about the kind of person you want to spend the rest of your life with. If you were their only sexual experience you would be their best sexual experience, and not only that you would share something between each other that no other person has ever known. These are the sort of things that make marriages last, and these are the only sort of things that can be called true unselfish Love.

There it is. You got a problem with that? Give me an ear full. I love love, but love is hard work it’s not like a movie. The sooner you get over yourself and realize that it’s not about you or your happiness at all, it’s about YOUR PARTNERS, the sooner you will have the capacity to actually Love with true devotion. Then you will be ready to be a husband or a wife.

Pass this on to somebody that you love not because anything bad or good will happen to you next week if you do (because any message that claims that is garbage), but because if you love to love and believe this you should desire it for your friends. That they have true happiness and Love. That is what love is.

Titanic II: Australian billionaire builds history

Clive Palmer an Austrailian billionaire has decided to build a piece of history. Maybe it was the second release of Titanic in theaters that sparked the idea. (let’s hope it wasn’t the many cruise ship disasters that have plagued the world this year). Whatever the reason Clive Palmer is doing something that I believe the entire world can respond to by saying “awesome!” To be honest it’s a wonder to me that at this point in history nobody has attempted this yet. I mean in our world it is all about the biggest and the best. Why has it taken us this long to get another Super Cruise ship up and running? A good number of my friends from college work 6 month shifts in cruise ships doing singing gigs. I wonder how many of them will fight tooth and nail to be on this boat. I gotta be honest part of me would love to watch the maiden voyage first hand, but maybe due to the history of her namesake… I’ll sit this one out. Official ride number 3 maybe is where I’m going to deem her see worthy.

Palmer aquired his wealth through his successful mining operations and as the article below states he will be building the ship to add to his investment portfolio. His new company Blue Star Line Pty Ltd is using a Chinese shipping yard to build this goliath ship. It is unfortunate that based on America’s incredibly unreasonable corporate tax rate that the ship was not considered to be built in one of our ports, but such is life. Apparently palmer is an aspiring politician as well. Quite the entrepreneur and renaissance man Clive Palmer is. Superstition aside I’m really excited to see this ship built. now if we can only get billionaires around the world to follow suit then we can get to mars sooner, and maybe get a spruce goose up in the air! God bless capitalism! Awesome stuff like this and Virgin galactic just doesn’t come from communism.

Titanic II set to disembark in 2016

This Eucharist - by Jethro Higgins (Catholic worship song)

Warning: This post is SUPER Catholic. This is a song I wrote for Eucharistic adoration when i was a youth minister and playing in the church band. It is a pretty authentic picture of how the Eucharist makes me feel. Feel free to learn it and play it for church activities. For any other purposes please seek my permission. Below you can read the lyrics.

V1: In this Eucharist gift of body and blood I am overwhelmed and over joyed and filled with your Grace my God, And in the breaking of the Lamb that was slain my knees hit the floor and I beg once more to be worthy of this gift of the Lord.

Chorus: I am not worthy Lord but only say the word and I shall be healed by the grace of my God. I am not worthy Jesus but that-a which God has made clean we are not to call profane.

V2: In this Sacrament we touch the living God and not the same and I am not ashamed to say I can feel the change and in my heart I know I become a temple of the Lord and dwelling with in me is the holy one the Savior whom I adore.

It’s not just a sign! Not merely bread and wine! It’s so much more! Bread can’t hear the cry of the poor!! Hallelujah Hallelujah

Amen. Amen. Amen. I do believe you Lord my God.

Why Suffering?: About God, is pain bad or good?

You’ve got a few minutes right? I mean you’re on facebook killing time… walk with me for a while. visit each link before you move on.

- 1984 (the beggining of his papacy long before his great suffering at the end of his life)

"This is the origin also of the present reflection, precisely in the Year of the Redemption: a meditation on suffering. Human suffering evokes compassion; it also evokes respect, and in its own way it intimidates. For in suffering is contained the greatness of a specific mystery. This special respect for every form of human suffering must be set at the beginning of what will be expressed here later by the deepest need of the heart, and also by the deep imperative of faith. About the theme of suffering these two reasons seem to draw particularly close to each other and to become one: the need of the heart commands us to overcome fear, and the imperative of faith—formulated, for example, in the words of Saint Paul quoted at the beginning—provides the content, in the name of which and by virtue of which we dare to touch what appears in every man so intangible: for man, in his suffering, remains an intangible mystery."

Fr. Stan Fortuna unpacks Pope John Paul the Great’s beautiful message to us on the meaning of suffering. Why we must suffer, and what is gained by suffering. The link is only to part on out of 10 but I encourage you to watch all 10.

Fr. Stan raps his holy head off about the human requirement of suffering…

Some people have a pretty Holy response to the endless suffering they see in this world.

Rightous B:

Who they are:… See More

What they do:

Pain is as close to you as the air you breath. This is the fact of life, but through this pain and suffering God molds us and shapes us into something far greater and far more worthy and blessed than we could ever imagine. There is beauty and benefit in humble, GRACE-full suffering, the virtue and vehicle by which we overcome the various forms of evil that plague our lives and this world. This is why the Faithless, the Hopeless, the LOVE-less, can’t cope with suffering in our world… because they cannot bring themselves to believe in the existence of objective evil (or good). The question is not, “If God is good, why is there suffering in the world?” THE question is…”God is good period. Why can’t I deal with the reality of evil productively by allowing suffering to increase MY OWN virtue, and allowing that suffering to make me a light of Hope along the path toward righteousness for others…?” (Inspired by Pope John Paul II the Great, and Fr. Stan Fortuna’s youtube discourse on suffering)

"Modern rationalism will not tolerate mystery" (Fr. Stan discourse part 2)

Embrace your cross and walk with Christ.

May God’s LOVE bring meaning and blessing in the sufferings in your life, and may God bless you all this week.

Your Brother from a Holy Mother,

Bible Study: Confirmation, Grace, The Holy Spirit

Scripture to Remember this Week:

"You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be my witnesses…"

- Acts 1:8

During the Sacrament of Confirmation the Holy Spirit truly comes upon us. Confirmation is our personal Pentecost. The Holy Spirit, in a very real way, joins with and changes your life.

“When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim. Now there were devout Jews from every nation under heaven staying in Jerusalem. At this sound, they gathered in a large crowd, but they were confused because each one heard them speaking in his own language. They were astounded, and in amazement they asked, “Are not all these people who are speaking Galileans? Then how does each of us hear them in his own native language? We are Parthians, Medes, and Elamites, inhabitants of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the districts of Libya near Cyrene, as well as travelers from Rome, both Jews and converts to Judaism, Cretans and Arabs, yet we hear them speaking in our own tongues of the mighty acts of God.” They were all astounded and bewildered, and said to one another, “What does this mean?” But others said, scoffing, “They have had too much new wine.” Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice, and proclaimed to them, “You who are Jews, indeed all of you staying in Jerusalem. Let this be known to you, and listen to my words. These people are not drunk, as you suppose, for it is only nine o’clock in the morning. No, this is what was spoken through the prophet Joel:’It will come to pass in the last days,’ God says, ‘that I will pour out a portion of my spirit upon all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.” -Acts 2:1-17

So what is Confirmation? Confirmation is not just a right of passage. It is not meant to be a recognition of your adulthood or anything like that. The purpose of Confirmation is nothing like the purpose of a Quinceañera. Confirmation is a sacrament. A sacrament is one of the 7 special ways in which God’s grace becomes truly and fully present in your physical and spiritual reality. Grace literally means God’s actual life within you. That’s pretty powerful. So Confirmation is your acceptance of God living through you. It allows you to more fully be Christ to the world. If you are just doing it for the “right of passage” aspect wait, and do it when you are more serious about taking on a deeper roll in the evangilization of our faith. Confirmation is meant to infuse you with the Holy Spirit to help you spread God’s love just like the Apostle’s at Pentecost.

During your confirmation you are commissioned by God through the Holy Spirit to spread the Word of the Lord. You become Christ’s hands, feet and mouth, in this physical world, in order to evangelize the Gospel message. You are called, sisters and brothers, to live the Love of Christ and to share that Love with all who will hear you. Do you see how much God Loves and trusts you? God has trusted to you personally with the mission of spreading his message to the world. You have been given the most important job that exists on Earth. You have been set above all other people on earth for the specific goal of spreading the message of Christ to someone, it might just be one specific person. Do you have the courage to accept the ministry your God has appointed you to?

As you go about your business this week keep in mind that you are an example of Christ. Some people that you encounter this week may have no other experience of Christianity in their lives except their limited encounter with you. That’s right JUST YOU. You might make or break Christianity for someone this week. Consider this week how God is calling you to minister to the people in your every day life. The mission of evangelization is not won by knocking on peoples doors with a suit, a tie, and a bible. It is won at the lunch table, the bus stop, the locker room, the football stadium, the office, and your Friday evening plans. Your challenge this week is to keep in mind as much as possible the mission God has given you in your everyday life, and your everyday conversations.

God Bless you this week!! I’ll be praying for you :)

Bible Study: Isaiah God and a paradox of space time

Scripture Verse for the Week:

"See, my servant shall prosper, he shall be raised high and greatly exalted. Even as many were amazed at him— so marred was his look beyond that of man, and his appearance beyond that of mortals— So shall he startle many nations, because of him kings shall stand speechless; For those who have not been told shall see, those who have not heard shall ponder it."

Isaiah 52: 13-15

"Who would believe what we have heard? To whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? He grew up like a sapling before him, like a shoot from the parched earth; There was in him no stately bearing to make us look at him, nor appearance that would attract us to him. He was spurned and avoided by men, a man of suffering, accustomed to infirmity, One of those from whom men hide their faces, spurned, and we held him in no esteem. Yet it was our infirmities that he bore, our sufferings that he endured, While we thought of him as stricken, as one smitten by God and afflicted. But he was pierced for our offenses, crushed for our sins, Upon him was the chastisement that makes us whole, by his stripes we were healed. We had all gone astray like sheep, each following his own way; But the LORD laid upon him the guilt of us all. Though he was harshly treated, he submitted and opened not his mouth; Like a lamb led to the slaughter or a sheep before the shearers, he was silent and opened not his mouth. Oppressed and condemned, he was taken away, and who would have thought any more of his destiny? When he was cut off from the land of the living, and smitten for the sin of his people,A grave was assigned him among the wicked and a burial place with evildoers, Though he had done no wrong nor spoken any falsehood. (But the LORD was pleased to crush him in infirmity.) If he gives his life as an offering for sin, he shall see his descendants in a long life, and the will of the LORD shall be accomplished through him. Because of his affliction he shall see the light in fullness of days; Through his suffering, my servant shall justify many, and their guilt he shall bear. Therefore I will give him his portion among the great, and he shall divide the spoils with the mighty, Because he surrendered himself to death and was counted among the wicked; And he shall take away the sins of many, and win pardon for their offenses."

Isaiah 53:1-12

I know what you’re thinking, ‘Why didn’t he just write out the whole book?’ I thought about it. I love Isaiah. All the prophets are cool but Isaiah has a special place in my heart, and I’ll tell you why. Right after I tell you a bit about Isaiah :). Isaiah is actually the writings of three separate prophets. First Isaiah is the original prophet his career began around 742 B.C. The other two “Isaiahs” were actually reteaching the original prophets message to a different group of Israelites between 590 and 500 B.C. This passage comes from the 2nd Isaiah who’s contribution to the book was chapters 40-55. Ok so now on to why I like Isaiah so much. Isaiah’s words tell of the coming of Christ over 500 years before his actual birth. Most people are aware of this, but just stop for a second and really think about that. This text was written 500 years before the birth of Christ, and that is a scientific fact. That is what makes Isaiah’s descriptions of the passion so amazing. It’s as if he were watching the passion as an eyewitness. He talks about the Lords stripes from the lash of the cat of nine tails. He talks of how Christ was marred beyond human recognition. Other passages of Isaiah go into further depth of describing how Jesus would die on a cross. It amazes me beyond belief how a man over 500 years before Christ could so accurately describe his life and death. Isaiah is unmistakably inspired by God. Beyond this though I feel that Isaiah gives us a deeper understanding of God and time. In many places Isaiah speaks the words of Christ, and they refer to the Passion in past tense. The Israelites must have thought Isaiah was nuts! They were probably mumbling under their breath to each other. “Why’s this guy talking about the future in past tense? Coocoo…” The meaning of the tense is two fold. Not only does it show us that for God time is past present and future all at once, but it also gives the entire book a deeper meaning for us. Isaiah’s message though spoken 2500 years ago was meant to be passed on until after Christ’s death as proof of the fullness of God’s plan for our salvation. Isaiah literally wrote these words for us to hear now not Israelites 2500 years ago but us today. Isaiah really helps us to bring together the big picture of God’s plan, it helps us to understand a little bit about how God works. Isaiah is a very important stepping stone to understanding salvation history.

Bible Study: Sola Scriptura & The Interpretation of Scripture

Bible Verse for the Week:

"From there Elisha went up to Bethel. While he was on the way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him. "Go up, baldhead," they shouted, "go up, baldhead!"The prophet turned and saw them, and he cursed them in the name of the LORD. Then two she-bears came out of the woods and tore forty-two of the children to pieces."

2 Kings 2: 23-24

42 children torn to pieces by 2 she-bears!!! What the HECK!! This is probably one of the oddest stories in the Bible. It can be very difficult at times to understand why a story like this belongs in the bible. This brings up an age old struggle in our Church, and our world. That struggle is the struggle of proper interpretation of scriputre. Many denominations and even some atheists believe they have the correct and meaningful interpretation, but all of these interpretations are called into question for the same reason. The unguided mind when looking into scripture will naturally read into the scriptures the messages that they wish to hear, instead of reading out of the scriptures the message God is trying to speak to us. Entire denominations have been started and continue to be started because of the misinterpretation of even as much as a single line of scripture for example:

"These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages. They will pick up serpents (with their hands), and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." - Mark 16: 17-18

A group of Pentecostal Christians off and on for the past century have created their own meaning for this scripture passage. They are called snake handlers or snake dancers . These people choose to tempt serpents in order to prove that they are faith filled people. There are many things wrong with this line of thought but let’s just leave it at God commanded us not to test him. The point is that the man who founded this denominational branch read Mark 16 with the idea in his head of finding a way to prove that him and others in his parish were holy, and that is not the proper way to approach reading scripture. We all do this when we read scripture because we don’t want to be challenged by God to change our lives . However that is exactly what every word of scripture is meant to do, change us . So now we are forced to ask the question, what are we to do? If everyone does this with scripture how are we to find the interpretation God intended? Protestant denominations believe in a concept known as Sola scriptura, ( Latin ablative, “by scripture alone”) is the assertion that the Bible as God’s written word is self-authenticating, clear (perspicuous) to the rational reader, its own interpreter (“Scripture interprets Scripture”), and sufficient of itself to be the final authority of Christian doctrine. In other words all one needs to be a Christian is to read the bible and believe what you read. This concept is flawed in a number of ways, but probably the most obvious is that for the first 400 years of Christian history there was no such thing as the bible because the Church had not collected the various writings, and placed them in the cannon yet. So by this definition of Christianity none of the Martyrs of the Roman persecution could have been Christian because they had no Christian Doctrine. However, we all know this was not in fact the case. Christianity was preserved from antiquity in Tradition. The same Christian Tradition that guides the Church today in the proper interpretation of the word of God. The Catholic Church has guarded this Sacred Tradition, and together with Holy Scripture we receive our Catholic Faith.

So now back to that really weird 2 Kings verse. Any ideas about what it means? Well I’ll let you in on a little secret. You may know this if you read the footnotes, but this is a story that the Israelites used to tell in order to convey an enhanced sense of dignity and respect for the Prophet Elisha, and God whom he served. You can imagine a mother telling her young children to be careful to offer respect to their elders, and holy men or they might be attacked and torn to pieces by she-bears. Elisha probably ran into tons of terrified and well behaved children in his time. Now that would be a lot more odd than this story. Imagine if everywhere you went children just stood silently at attention. This story most likely did not happen, but was meant to display the power the prophet had from God.

- 2 Kings 2: 23-24

Okay, I gave you a weird one now it’s your turn. This challenge is going to be a little more of a game really than the normal spiritual challenge I give you. I want you all to search through your bibles and find the weirdest story you can. I’ll pick the weirdest story I get and make it the verse for next week. Also there will be a prize for the winner. Ready? GO!! Happy Bible sleuthing!!!

Republican Nomination: “Blood Letting” Hurt Democrats not GOP

When checking out Google trends today I came across something very interesting. I was typing in random words for fun, and I found this graph. If you notice up until 2010 after the midterm election democrats have historically been center stage on the internet. There has scarce been a time when republicans were searched more frequently, and the news seems to have taken the same path. That all changed as the candidates started to take their positions for the primary race for the nomination.

As the graph below shows the frequency of searches and the news coverage about republicans, for the first time in at least 8 years, has overtaken the democrats. More people in the past year sought out the republican party online.

Republican verse Democrat in search volume

As we all know any news is good news because the average human being will repeat what they encounter the most. We are creatures of habit and if you aren’t sure who to vote for (independents) then you will naturally choose the name you heard most frequently.

Before Rick Santorum suspended his campaign there was quite the buzz in various media sources that the race for the nomination was becoming a distraction from the campaign. Talking heads went on and on calling the primary election “Blood letting”. It seems however that what was in fact happening was very different. As the race heated up and political ads fired back and forth the interest in the republican party increased. People weren’t loosing interest as the news agencies were leading America to believe. In fact as you can see by the graph above the longer the race went on the greater portion of internet attention the GOP received. The hard fought battle for the nomination was the best campaign tool for Mitt Romney. Another rarely mentioned fact about the hard fought race was the Obama factor. Without a clear candidate to address his attacks at Mr. Obama left his campaign very much on hold. Immediately following the announcement by Rick Santorum the Obama campaign unleashed a hoard of campaign materials against Mitt in various media forms. If the race for the nomination had continued longer it is likely that that torrent of negative campaigning would have laid dormant. All the while giving the general public more time to get better acquainted with the republican party.

Unfortunately for the GOP the Obama campaign is leaps and bounds beyond the republicans at monitoring social awareness and trends through the internet. There are some start ups working toward conservative ends, but the majority of political experts taking full advantage of concepts like SEO and SMM are liberals. In our society not taking full advantage of internet opportunities can break a start up or even a well established business. It’s good to see the GOP making moves toward eListening however it may be to little to late. President Obama’s campaign has a well trained staff monitoring online chatter around the clock and they have been at it for some time now. Luckily public sentiment as currently focused on republicans, but expect a huge blitz of online material from the left to combat this trend.

War on Women: Ann Romney gets apology from Hilary Rosen

Hilary Rosen apologized to Ann Romney today which is making big news especially on Twitter, but more importantly and somewhat swept under the rug was this statement by Hilary Rosen,

"Let’s declare peace in this phony war and go back to focus on the substance."

This statement is huge for the democrats and left leaning liberals in general. I have a new found respect for Hilary Rosen. Obviously this particular statement wasn’t focused on heavily by ABC news in this article.

Maybe it was a gaff but declaring the “war on women” mantra, so often chanted by the supporters of Mr. Obama, phony was a huge step forward in focusing on policy and issues. To this point the Democratic campaign has been a shouting match of hateful nonsense, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe the nation can work on being less divided and really sit down and honestly discuss policy. Democrats should follow Hilary Rosen’s lead and work on being more civil. After all civility is a very frequent word leaving the lips of our commander and chief when discussing politics. It’s about time somebody directed that at both sides. What Rosen said about Ann Romney was offensive, but in the long run it may have helped the Republican campaign as it drew much attention to the double standard so frequently felt by GOP supporters.

North Korea mis-fires long range rocket

North Korea test fired a long range rocket today. Do to a flareup the rocket did not meet it’s desired path and has went astray toward the Philippines and Australia. Visit this link to read up on the full story from the Associated Press.

Defying UN and US authorities North Korea tells the world that it is not ready to enter the international community, but would rather continue it’s long standing tradition of being ridiculous.

North Korea has been looking for a way for Kim Jong-Un to make his name both nationally and internationally, but shooting a rocket at the ocean that was previously aimed at space is not the way to do it. Not to mention the United States and the United Nations might have a thing or two to say about the situation having already given the volatile country stern warnings about continuing down this path. UN and US officials should have some interesting things to say over the next few days. If Kim Jong-Un wanted attention well now he’s got it. Unfortunately the North Korean display of “power” may have cost the people of North Korea much needed food from the U.S. Kim Jong Un is apparently not interested in the needs of his people. Stay tuned!
